Publishing Timeline

Submission Verification:

Once you’re accepted as a PENDIUM author and we’ve received all necessary submission forms, we review all of your material to make sure everything required to begin working on your book is in hand.

Production Begins:

Your title is produced by our production team in the desired format you’ve selected. If you’ve selected to have your manuscript edited by PENDIUM, it is assigned to our editor to begin. Note editing is done on a first-come basis, and depending on the level of editing needed and workload, this may add additional time.

Author Proof:

Typically you can expect to receive an interior pdf proof of your book and your book cover within 60 days. If your manuscript was edited, this is your opportunity to check the interior file and your book cover, making note of any corrections desired.

Revision and Publication:

Upon the author’s review of the book cover and interior file, we will make any requested corrections. Afterwards, the book will then be ready for submission to the printer. If you select to receive a proof of the finished work then one will be mailed out for your final review. If all is well…

Book Distribution:

We notify bookstores, wholesalers, libraries, and web sites about your book through our major distributor (Ingram). Your title will be available to more than 25,000 retail outlets in addition to online venues.

Optional:

Promotional materials and marketing options are available to inform readers and potential buyers about your new book if you so desire.
